LSO Creative Day
April 25, 2016
LSO Discovery’s day-long workshops at LSO St Luke’s aim to encourage primary school teachers and other staff teaching music to use a creative and hands-on approach to western classical music.
Led by LSO animateur Rachel Leach and LSO musicians, the days are designed specifically for those who are musically confident or have existing musical experience, taking different approaches to class composition, using western classical music as a stimulus. Each Creative Day will leave you with ideas you can immediately try out in class, after which you will attend a follow-up session to share your experiences with fellow teachers and discuss solutions to problems with Rachel Leach before attending an LSO evening concert, all of which is included in the cost of the Creative Day.
