Every year NYJC takes to the road and hear hundreds of players. All kinds of instruments from all kinds of backgrounds. Not just saxophones and double basses – they’re ready for any instrument… sitars, violins, bassoons, and on and on. And singers too of course.

NYJC likes jazz with many flavours; from rock and rap to classical, World Music fusion and funk. Jazz is in the spirit of the music. The way you make it.
