E20 Grooves: South Asian Heritage Month rehearsal

E20 Grooves vocalists will perform at Rosetta Arts’ celebration for South Asian Heritage month on 22 August. 

E20 Grooves is an ensemble for 9-15 year olds, focussing on Carnatic and Hindustani music along with Western Classical, Jazz and other global music traditions. They meet weekly at Newham Music Hub: Westfield Stratford City during term time and work with musicians trained in both Western and Carnatic music.

The vocalists explore Hindustani classical and folk genres from around South Asia through singing.

Join our performance!

We are looking for 9-15 year olds to join the performance for South Asian Heritage Month.

You will need to have experience of singing Hindustani classical and folk song, and be able to attend the following three dates:

Monday 19 August and Wednesday 21 August, 5.30-7pm at Newham Music Hub: Westfield Stratford City. See directions here. 

Thursday 22 August, 5.30-7pm at Rosetta Arts Centre.
