The Flotsam Orchestra will spend a weekend learning, sharing and playing music from around the world, finishing with a big concert at The Jago on Monday 6 May to perform all the things we have learned together!

The Flotsam Orchestra will also host an Open Song Workshop for all ages on Saturday 4 May, 10-11.30am at Newham Music Hub.

The Flotsam Orchestra is a unique music collaboration, organically formed through Flotsam Sessions, bringing together talented musicians, spanning diverse backgrounds and cultures through music. Flotsam Sessions is a London-based project creating exciting musical spaces where people from diverse backgrounds and experiences come together to share, express, learn and perform music. With a base in folk and roots music from all over the world, we aim to create cross-cultural dialogue that transcends borders and creates a human space for all.
