This practical 1-day course will focus on the skills required to lead and direct all types of choirs and vocal groups. Choir leader and trainer Jane Wheeler will give expert advice about leading and engaging choirs, warming up healthily, developing conducting techniques and choosing and arranging repertoire. There will be guidance on how to set up and work successfully with your choir, to involve and engage everyone in your group. You will have the chance to learn music by ear, without the need to read music.

This course is suitable for teachers and vocal leaders of all levels, who are involved in or who would like to be involved in leading choirs and vocal groups.
