KS2 and 3 improving singing workshop with Francesca Christmas INSET

Join us for find out about fun and engaging ways to improve singing through warm ups, short activities and part songs. This session focuses on developing the quality of singing with classes and choirs and will include lots of practical activities, resources and tips. This session is ideal for Key Stage 2 and 3 teachers regardless of musical experience.

Francesca is Head of Academic Governance for Music at Trinity College London, an international performing arts and English language assessment board. She trained as a singer at Music College, and then moved to music education, working as an instrumental tutor, then into secondary teaching after doing her PGCE. She left to work as an animateur  at two of the Opera Houses, then joined Trinity as Head of teacher development in 2008. She has worked with The Open University as a tutor on the Music PGCE course, and has contributed articles, chapters and conference presentations on various aspects of music education.

This is FREE for teachers and school staff who work in schools in Newham.
