Join presenter Rachel Leach and LSO players to explore Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F minor, Op 34: movement III and Haydn’s String Quartet in E flat, Op 33 No 2, ‘The Joke’: movement IV – both of which are Edexcel set works for AS and A2 examinations in 2016. The seminar will also include a section on string techniques, helping to build aural analysis skills and giving students a better understanding of compositional techniques.
