This session is for teachers and other adults working in Schools regardless of musical and/or teaching experience.

This practical session will include:
– Quick fixes: Why won’t it work?! What to do next?
– How to get a good sound out of common instruments eg. Violin, cello, flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, ukulele, guitar etc
– Learning the first 5 notes
– Supporting students to make progress
– Suitable for teachers working with students from 4-18 yrs!

Newham Music teachers will share their tips and experience. If you’ve ever played or never played an instrument you will leave this session with ideas and greater confidence in how to support your students.

Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, we are able to offer these events free of charge to teachers and adults working in Newham Schools.
We welcome adults from outside Newham for a small charge of £15.
