Sing songs from musicals and create a show at Newham Music’s summer course! 

Monday 26 August to Friday 30 August 2024

Across five days, participants will learn stagecraft, storytelling, scriptwriting and theatre skills; develop confidence and improve their singing technique; and gain tips about working in the performing arts. The group will devise and create a show together, leading to a performance at the end of the week.

This course is for 12-16 year olds who:

• have an existing interest in performing and singing
• would like to meet and work with other people who have a passion for music -and performing
• are interested in finding out more about jobs in performing arts
• want the opportunity to develop skills in stagecraft, theatre, music and performing.

Sessions will run from 10am – 3pm Monday 26 – Thursday 29, and 12 – 5pm on Friday 30 with a showcase at 6 – 7pm.
