Fancy singing sea-shanties aboard a pirate ship, or waltzing in a fairytale ballroom? 💃 Maybe you want to join Robin Hood’s band of merry men? Or perform on stage at a legendary Jazz Cafe? 🎤

Join us this Summer for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do all the above and more! This August, Newham Music is delighted to be partnering with @halfmoon_theatre to present a five day music and drama workshop for young people with physical, sensory and/or cognitive disabilities. With the assistance of highly skilled Newham Music and Half Moon drama facilitators, the young people will produce a piece a collaborative theatre in just five days….a ‘Musical in a week’.

The week includes:

– Story Crafting

– Music Making

– Movement and Dance

– Direction and performance

Dates and Times: 16th-20th August, 10am-4pm. Drop ins allowed.

Location: Stratford Youth Zone, Theatre Square, London E15 1BX

The project is open to young people aged 14+ with physical, sensory and/or cognitive disabilities, and their carers Participation in the week is COMPLETELY FREE.
