Do you make music in Newham? Do you provide music for young people in schools or other community locations? Would you like to build musical bridges to enable our young people to excel and succeed?
Newham Music is excited to invite you to Nexus, a new kind of professional development network.
Created with community musicians, local schools and community organisations in mind, Nexus will be a space to strengthen cross-community relationships, connecting educators and artists, supporting meaningful artistic partnerships.
Each session will include networking, music-making, professional development and new collaborative experiences – with a healthy side of refreshments!
Our first session will take place on 1 December at The Gate Library, E7 0QH and will explore creative music tech and vocal work for all. We hope to see you there, and please feel free to invite any colleagues or partners you think would find this useful!
