Born and raised in Kentucky, The Local Honeys have dedicated themselves to the preservation of old music and the creation of new music. Linda Jean Stokley and Montana Hobbs’ debut album, Little Girls Actin’ Like Men showcases their ability to tear into hard driving fiddle tunes, sing the high lonesome sound, and tell a toe-tappingly good story. Together in 2015, the pair became the first two lady graduates with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Traditional ‘Hillbilly’ Music.
