Leading jazz organisation Tomorrow’s Warriors return to Rich Mix to host a brand-new monthly jam session.

Since 1991, Tomorrow’s Warriors has proved a hotbed for new jazz talent, with its artists and bands winning over 50 awards between them. Graduates of their programmes include Jason Yarde, Soweto Kinch, Julie Dexter, Denys Baptiste, Shabaka Hutchings, Zara McFarlane and Eska (to name a few!) while others have gone on to tour with international acts such as Rudimental, Zero 7, Skatalites, Laura Mvula and Adele.

For many years, musicians would hone their skills at Tomorrow’s Warriors jam sessions across London and as they head into their 25th year they are delighted to be able to bring this tradition back for the next generation. Each month the jam will be hosted by emerging artists (aged 18-25) from within the Tomorrow’s Warriors programmes. After a set from the house band, there will be opportunities for musicians and vocalists to join in.

This really is the place to see and play alongside some of the most exciting young musicians in the UK right now.
