Newham Music is hosting a summer school this August!

Based on our Newham Grooves project, we are inviting musicians from around the borough to join an ensemble with their neighbours and friends from other schools to learn, play and perform together.

Open to ages 9-13 (those who are just finishing years 4-8 at school), we’re welcoming young musicians who play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, trumpet, trombone, low brass (baritone, tuba, euphonium), violin, cello, percussion, and piano.

Dates: Tuesday 13th August – Saturday 17th August 2019
Times: 9:45 AM – 3:00 PM Tuesday-Friday; Saturday – TBC
Place: Lister Community School, St Mary’s Road, Plaistow, London, E13 9AE
Lunch: Your child must bring a packed lunch each day
Concert: Saturday 17th August – Venue and times TBC
