Newham Music paid their respects at Holocaust Memorial Day 2023, with a series of moving performances.

Holocaust Memorial Day 2023 was marked by Newham with a commemorative tribute event at the Old Town Hall in Stratford.

The occasion, which saw tributes such as a candle lighting spectacle and a moving one minute silence, saw Newham Music’s Bridging Sounds Orchestra perform De-ar fi lumea De Hartie by Nicolae Guta, arranged by Ady Hudescu.

There were also some stunning spoken word performances, in addition to a duet performed by Anisa and Zara.
