Newham welcomes King Charles III

King Charles III made a recent visit to the London Borough of Newham for the first time since being crowned.
King Charles visited the London Borough of Newham on a recent visit, in order to mark the 125th birthday of the University of East London. His arrival was greeted by pupils from Sandringham Primary School at the Water Lane Campus in Stratford, who gave a special and unique singing performance upon his arrival.
The song was written by Tristan Parkes, a lead tutor on the BA Performing Arts course at UEL, for a mixed choir of children and adults. It had an ecological theme with some very poignant words. The choir was accompanied by acoustic guitar and soprano saxophone.
