As a part of Newham’s Year of the Young Person, we were featured in the Newham Recorder to focus on the importance of music.
As highlighted in the article, “schools are using music as part of their recovery curriculum because it helps foster a sense of belonging and community. While lockdown has closed schools, Newham Music’s programmes have been credited by school staff as putting joy back into the school day.”
