E20 Grooves

Explore South Asian musical culture with E20 Grooves! 

E20 Grooves is a South Asian based ensemble that explores the genres of Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western Classical, Jazz and other global music traditions.

Working with musicians trained in both Western and Carnatic music, learn through movement, storytelling and collaboration.

For ages 9 – 15.

When: Thursday evenings

5pm – 5.45pm Vocal Group – Explore Hindustani classical and folk genres from around South Asia through singing. All experiences are welcome.

 5.45pm – 7pm Instrument Ensemble – South Asian focused ensemble that will explore genres from Carnatic to Hindustani music, as well as working with traditional, jazz, funk and film music. Open to all young musicians who have some experience with their instrument (strings, brass, woodwind, keyboard)
