Guitar Circus

After the success of London Guitar Festival East, Newham Music brought a new guitar project to local students.

The Guitar Circus was a 6-week intensive course providing students the opportunity to study guitar with our top professional musicians & teachers, ultimately celebrating the guitar as one of the world’s most adaptable and multicultural instruments.

Students from participating Newham schools explored various musical styles through the study and performance of the guitar, working closely with their tutor in a masterclass environment.

The Guitar Circus focused on specific styles of music: Classical, Jazz/Blues or Rock/Pop. Each course featured exclusive musical content provided by Newham Music and served as an invaluable source of educational material for the students on their musical journey.
