Sangeet Assembly

Sangeet Assembly  is a singing opportunity for KS1-3 students in Spring 2025 to celebrate Vaisakhi!

Your school will learn a song for Vaisakhi using South Asian teaching methods. This is ideal for singing assembly, with optional WCET instrumental content.

Sangeet Assembly: Diwali 2024

Last year, we introduced the Sangeet Assembly resource to celebrate Diwali. Designed for schools, these resources focus on teaching children music and songs through South Asian musical traditions. They were delivered in classrooms during the autumn term and remain available below.

Sangeet Assembly: Vaisakhi 2025 

In celebration of Vaisakhi, our Sangeet Assembly resources once again draw on South Asian musical traditions to explore song, music, and dance. These resources provide an interactive way to learn about the cultural significance of the festival through creative expression. These resources can be found below.

The Project Dates are:
