Through the Write a Song project, Newham Music works with schools around the borough to write original songs, reflective of the local culture, heritage and history in their communities. In 2025, students have taken inspiration from Rendezvous Projects' Sound Waves project, uncovering and celebrating 60 years of music in Newham.
