What’s On in February Half-Term

Visit our new venue this half-term at Westfield Stratford City! We have a range of activities from 12-16 February.
Monday 12 February
Come and Play: Taiko Drum – come along to hear the sounds of this traditional instrument, try out rhythms, have fun, and explore the world of these fascinating drums! 10am – families, 11am – 12-16 year olds, free.
Family Musical Play – creative musical play sessions for children aged up to 7 and their families. 2pm, 3pm, pay what you can.
Flotsam Orchestra rehearsal – don’t miss their gig here on 24 February!
Tuesday 13 February
Family Musical Play – creative musical play sessions for children aged up to 7 and their families. 10am, 11.30am, pay what you can.
Audition for The Stopping Place – Brolly Productions and Newham Music are holding auditions to find young people to join our core group of performers for our production of The Stopping Place, being performed in Summer 2024! 2.30-5.30pm, free.
Wednesday 14 February
First Steps: Baby Steps – a music session for babies aged 6 – 18 months and their adults. During half term, school age siblings are also welcome to come along and join in. 10am, pay what you can.

Gig School – come along to meet and jam with other musicians, gain experience playing in a band, and perform together in Newham Music’s Open Mic. 1-5pm, for ages 12-17, free.
Friday 16 February
Gig School – day 2! 11am-5pm, for ages 12-17 free.
Open Mic – Newham Music’s Open Mic is a chance for young musicians in our community to perform for each other and a friendly audience! Performance slots for 12-17 year olds. 6-7.30pm, free.
